Owner/Manager/Educator
Anita is mother to 5 children ages 16-25, who holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Child and Youth Study and is currently working towards her Master of Arts - Interdisciplinary Studies. During her 30 years as an Early Childhood Educator, Anita has worked with children ages 0-12 years. She has extensive experience running early learning programs and has held several management positions, as head teacher, assistant director, director, and owner/operator of an in-home child care centre. Anita loves helping children connect to nature and to explore the world around them.

Assistant Manager/Educator
Stephanie (Steph) is a graduate of the ECE program at North Island College and has her Infant Toddler and Special Needs Certification through College of the Rockies. She is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education through Capilano University. She has 15+ years of experience caring for children ages 0-12 years. She has worked overseas as a nanny, has worked in various Early Learning programs in the Comox Valley and has four children and an adult step-son of her own. She brings energy and enthusiasm and great dedication to our classroom every day.

Other Important Members of our Teaching Team
Grace has been a valuable member of our team since October 2021. She began as a cleaner and classroom helper then took on the role of support staff as she completed her Early Childhood Educator Assistant certification. She plans to continue her education to one day receive her full Early childhood educator certification. She currently works in our 3-5 program where she brings her love of music and art to brighten our day.
